The Pain Of Regret

In life we have people close to us. Ones that truly know us and care about us. A lot of times it feels like we argue the most; with the ones we love the most. We all have to show restraint on how we talk to people when angry.

It hurts parents, siblings and friends when you lash out. The pain hurts when people you genuinely care about say mean things to you. And you know one day they will die. And pass away. And the only thing that will be left is the tears you shed from the pain of regret.

Apologize and show them you care for them. Before it's too late. If you don't you'll be stuck with remorse. Remorse from all the things you wish you could have said. The things you wish you didn't say. And the pain from things you should have done.

If you feel like this, take it as a lesson in life to be more kind. To be more gentle. For this is strength. And forgive yourself. In this world you live and you learn. Yes it hurts, but you have to keep moving. Spend those times with loved ones. Before you have to spend time wishing you did have more time with them.

When you argue with loved ones and they pass away. You'll see how pointless all of the fighting was. How you wish you didn't spend all the time with parents, family ect. In an angry manner. Once you lose them there is no going back in time. No chance to take back all that you have said.

You may be angry with your mom or dad. But once they leave this world. You won't feel all of that resentment towards them. Your heart will miss them. And you'll want them back. So please be kind to them.
